YOUNG FEMINIST LEADERSHIP FRAMEWORK

The Young Feminist Leadership Framework is a co-created guide developed with 72 young feminists and 19 allies across 18 countries, capturing the lived realities, strategies, and visions of young feminist organizers. Grounded in intersectional analysis and local context, it explores how young feminists mobilize, build movements, and practice transformative leadership. The framework highlights key tactics, challenges, and emerging good practices: from digital activism to community-based organizing. It also examines intergenerational dynamics, safety and protection needs, and the power imbalances shaping feminist work globally. Ultimately, it offers principles, insights, and recommendations to strengthen young feminist leadership within ActionAid and across wider movements.
